BV Paul Maar School

FLÖRSHEIM

MTK

We are currently carrying out the complete earthworks, shell and masonry work for the extension to the Paul Maar School in Flörsheim. The new building with three storeys and a staggered storey is connected to the existing building via a two-storey connecting structure and extends the school complex by around 23,000 m³ BRI and 4,400 m² gross floor area.

The building is a mixed construction of reinforced concrete and masonry. The ceilings and roof surfaces are made of reinforced concrete, while the roofs are flat pitched monopitch roofs with metal cladding and integrated photovoltaic modules. The load-bearing exterior walls are made of reinforced concrete or sand-lime brick, depending on the area. On the first floor, the supporting structure allows for a partially column-free façade design.

As part of the foundation work, the floor slab is constructed with all the necessary height differences, waterproofing and substructures. We then carry out the reinforced concrete work for the walls, columns, beams and floor slabs. In addition, masonry walls made of sand-lime brick are created, which are professionally connected to the concrete structure using approved anchor rails. Waterproofing work on components in contact with the ground, roof surfaces and transitions to the existing building secure the building structure in the long term.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, we set up the entire construction site logistics – including site fencing, containers, construction roads and protective measures for existing buildings. In this way, we create the basis for a technically high-quality and safe execution of the extension.
