As part of the development of the “Quellenpark” urban quarter in Bad Vilbel, a 3.5-form elementary school with a single-field sports hall is being built. The construction project comprises two free-standing building sections: the four-storey school building and the two-storey sports hall.

The school building extends over four floors and is a solid construction consisting of reinforced concrete ceilings, reinforced concrete beams, reinforced concrete walls and reinforced concrete columns. The non-load-bearing walls are mainly made of masonry. The dimensions of the school building are approximately 19.65 m wide and 72.80 m long.

The sports hall is also designed as a solid construction and consists mainly of reinforced concrete. The roof structure above the sports area is supported by trapezoidal sheet metal on glulam trusses. The building dimensions of the school building are approx. 19.65 m x 72.80 m, and those of the single-field sports hall approx. 29.80 m x 29.80 m.

The basement of the school and the floor slab of the sports hall are designed as watertight (WU) structures with fresh concrete composite sheeting. The concrete surfaces of the walls and ceilings meet high design standards and correspond to exposed concrete class SB3.

The gross floor area (GFA) of the school building is 24,184.70 m³, while the GFA of the single-field sports hall is 7,239.47 m³.
