The site of the planned fire station covers an area of 7,688 m². The new fire station has a maximum building length of 100.41 meters, a width of 31.37 meters and a building height of between 7.30 meters and 12.97 meters. The building has no basement and 1-3 storeys. To the south-east of the fire station is a 3-storey residential building with dimensions of 31.80 m x 11.64 m, also without a basement.

The building stands on a continuous floor slab, which is designed as a white tank made of reinforced concrete. The load-bearing structure of the fire station consists of in-situ concrete walls and columns, which are erected on the floor slab as a skeleton construction. The rising storeys are made up of various precast reinforced concrete elements, including reinforced concrete columns, precast girders, TT ceilings and precast staircases.

The project includes extensive drainage work such as pipes, shafts, grease traps, trenches, a rainwater utilisation system, rainwater retention and water extraction. All of the building’s structures are predominantly made of exposed concrete with high design requirements (SB3).
