BV Operational Training Center Police Headquarters Westhessen

Ginsheim-Gustavsburg

The new police training center can accommodate up to 120 police officers every day for training purposes. The building consists of a flat-roofed structure in solid reinforced concrete construction and comprises a first floor and three upper floors. With a total height of around 16.75 meters, which rises to around 20.85 meters in the area of the roof structures, the center has an impressive presence. The gross floor area (GFA) of the new building totals around 10,000 square meters.

The entire construction is made of concrete. The foundation consists of a watertight construction. All reinforced concrete parts are executed with very high surface requirements (SB3). Prestressing steel was used in the ceilings. Due to the large span width of the ceilings and the increased requirement for deflection, the majority of the ceiling is designed as a prestressed concrete ceiling.
