BV SCHÖNHOF NEIGHBOURHOOD F3

Frankfurt am Main

The construction project in the Schönhof district comprises 182 residential units and a day care centre. There is a single-storey underground car park with 114 parking spaces, 56 of which are double parking spaces. The buildings are of solid construction and are connected underground via the underground car park. Heat is supplied via district heating.

The buildings are based on a reinforced concrete floor slab designed as a ‘white tank’. The surrounding walls of the basement and load-bearing interior basement walls are made of reinforced concrete. The exterior walls of the residential storeys have a thermal insulation composite system. Flat and building partition walls as well as load-bearing interior walls are made of KS masonry/concrete, non-load-bearing interior walls are made of drywall.

The storey ceilings are made of in-situ concrete/element ceilings with concrete topping. Ceilings above the underground car park were sealed in accordance with DIN 18533. Stair flights and intermediate landings are made of reinforced concrete.
